Soaring On New Sights Foundation (S.O.N.S.) is a nonprofit agency providing youth leadership outreach programs in Guilford County. The program forms partnerships with local organizations/groups with similar missions. S.O.N.S.'s goal is to foster a commitment to the community that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and inspire a sense of hope in the future.
S.O.N.S. foundation youth programs targets the growing number of individuals that are either falling through the cracks or are in need of assistance to aid in putting their lives together. The goal of the program is to identify youth and help offer a positive support system while teaching the difference between choices and decisions in life.
Soaring On New Sights Foundation focuses primarily on community youths. S.O.N.S.'s leadership programs will pair a youth with mentor participating in planned activities to strengthen the relationship between the two and improve the young person's confidence and hopefulness while enriching our community though them giving back “Service with a Purpose.”
